Do charter school teachers have to be certified through a TEA approved certification program?
Charter schools are flexible regarding a teaching certification, but if you do not have one, you must be enrolled and working towards your certification. Charter schools do require that all teachers, core and elective, be highly qualified for the subject they teach.

Yes, charter school students are held accountable for passing the same test administered by TEA as any other normal ISD.
